I didn't want to sign up for an IJ account because I already have an LJ one. Until now, my friends who were concerned about the whole LJ Strikethrough/TOS debacle hadn't left the LJ community, so I was fine with that. I'm also a moderator of the New Yorkers LJ community, which I think carries a small amount of responsibility that I can't walk away from.
However, the only person on my IJ f-list (so far) decided that he'd had enough and moved over here. And since I love and care about him, I decided to come over here, too.
There's probably not going to be any content here, unless LJ goes over the deep end. (Which probably means I should either get a jump on starting a New Yorkers community here, or ask the mod if they need extra help.) Believe me, there's really no use in friending this journal.
